Page Theater

The Page Theater is located right in Downtown Luray, about a 10 minute drive from Hillside House Shenandoah. Known for it’s beautifully decorated interior, this is a great place to spend a rainy afternoon. Grab some milk duds and go check out a new or classic movie in this locally owned theater.
Play Arcade Games at the Headmasters Pub
27 minutes from Hillside House
Just across the mountain in Sperryville is one of our favorite spots in the area, Headmasters Pub. It’s a great bar and restaurant, but they also have a huge arcade! Spend the afternoon playing pool, skiball and more.
Check Out Local Art at Warehouse Art Gallery
9 minutes from Hillside House
Warehouse Art Gallery has lots of beautiful local art to explore, plus the building itself is a work of art. Enjoy a stroll through lots of stunning exhibits, and then afterwards grab lunch across the street at the Gathering Grounds.
Explore the Luray Caverns
10 minutes from Hillside House

On a rainy day there's also nothing wrong with getting cozy with a cup of coffee, a classic movie, and playing some games! The Hillside House is fully equipped for a cozy afternoon in, and our front porch stays covered in the rain!
